Information from the enquiry form

When you use the website enquiry form, we collect the parent or carer name, email address, the setting selected and the message you provide. The form also uses basic security checks, and the website may create technical logs such as an IP address, browser information, date and time to deliver and protect the service.

We use this information to:

• respond to your question and contact you about availability, visits, funding or next steps;
• route the enquiry to the setting you select;
• keep a proportionate record of the enquiry and any follow-up; and
• detect misuse and keep the website, email and nursery systems secure.

Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before a possible childcare arrangement and our legitimate interests in answering enquiries, operating the nursery group and protecting our systems. We do not use website enquiries for unrelated marketing.

Please avoid sensitive information

Please do not put medical, safeguarding, funding-evidence or other sensitive information about a child or family in the free-text message. The team can arrange an appropriate, more secure way to discuss it where needed.

Who receives an enquiry

Website enquiries are received by the central MNG team and may be shared with the nursery, preschool, holiday club or sister setting you select so that its team can respond. The site and email service providers process information only to provide and protect their services. Information may also be shared with professional advisers, regulators, safeguarding bodies or public authorities where this is necessary or required by law.

Some settings in the wider nursery family have their own operational privacy arrangements. If your enquiry progresses to registration or attendance, the selected setting will explain how it handles parent, carer and child records.

How long we keep enquiry information

We keep an enquiry only for as long as needed to answer it, complete reasonable follow-up and manage any resulting relationship. Enquiries that do not progress are removed when there is no longer an operational or legal reason to keep them. If a place progresses, relevant information may become part of the selected setting’s registration or nursery records and will then follow that setting’s retention requirements.

Cookies and similar technologies

We do not currently use analytics, advertising or marketing cookies on this website. WordPress, Divi and the hosting provider use essential technologies needed to deliver, secure and maintain the site and process the enquiry form.

When you close our privacy message, the site sets one first-party preference cookie named mng_privacy_notice. It contains only the value needed to remember that choice and expires after six months. You can reopen the message at any time using Cookie settings in the footer.

Ordinary public pages do not load Google Maps, video platforms, Google Fonts or social-media trackers inside the website. If the site’s technology changes, this notice and the privacy controls will be reviewed before optional tracking is introduced.

Links to other websites

The site links to group and sister-setting websites, email services and other external resources. Those services are not loaded inside the MNG website. If you follow a link, the other organisation will handle information under its own privacy and cookie arrangements.

Security and international services

We use proportionate technical and organisational measures to protect website enquiries. Our hosting and email suppliers may operate infrastructure outside the UK.
